Bird Crazy, Loot Heavy

My folks are so good to me.
Today I had breakfast with Dad and went shopping at the Audobon store. We both love birds. He turned me onto it quite early in my life and I cannot live without them now. My art is peppered with bird imagery. I wanted to be a bird when I grew up (even wrote an essay on it in the 4th grade). My folks have a feeder that hangs about 2 feet from the dining table window. The birds are fearless. They could care less how close you stand to the window. You don't exist.
So I went in looking for a feeder for my future sewing room window. I came out with an angled hook to mount beside the window and a small feeder to hang off it. Heaven.
My mom and I went to return a shirt whose arms were just too long and I came out with a new pair of snow shoes, a zip up vest and a cuddly brown pullover v-neck.
We are preparing to have a fried dough pizza gathering with the homies. Angela, Barry, Jody and hopefully Janet and Rick from down the street.
I look forward to being with David, I miss him so much. But I will truely miss both my Mom and Dad. And although I am wowed by the loot, what I will miss is the hugs, kisses, the love and the home cooked food. My family is the most verbosely loving family around.
Hands Down.
